First Lutheran Church welcomes you to Sunday Services are held at 9:30 a.m. in the main sanctuary.
Welcome to Worship at First Lutheran
Our worship services are central to who we are as followers of Jesus Christ. All who feel drawn to share in the sacrament of Holy Communion, which is offered at every service, are invited and encouraged to do so. In joining us, it is our hope that you will come to know the real presence of our Lord. Holy Communion is celebrated at each worship service.
A quick overview of our worship:
First Lutheran Church honors the centuries-old traditions of Christian liturgical worship, as well as more modern forms of worship such as Marty Haugen’s “Now the Feast and Celebration.” While the structure of worship may be a familiar setting from Evangelical Lutheran Worship, the service brings fresh and inspiring content with thoughtful sermons, music from our adult and bell choirs, and an engaging children’s message that resonates with the entire congregation.
Once each month, worshipers can enjoy a Jazz Service at the regular 9:30 a.m. service. This popular service features jazz musicians—instrumentalists and vocalists—from the congregation and the community. It is usually on the second Sunday of the month, but due to the musicians’ schedules, this may vary. Check the calendar for the latest information.
