Thursday evening Bible study: Hard Sayings of Jesus

Class dates: April 11, 18, 25, May 9, 16, & 23,

Like his original hearers, many people today find Jesus' sayings hard. Some sayings are hard because they are difficult to understand, others because the demands they make on us are only too clear. Our Spring Thursday Evening Study will wrestle with some of these sayings. Participants will be encouraged to suggest passages they would like the group to study.

 

WARNING: The Instructor (hereafter referred to as "The Pastor") makes no claim as to be able to completely or even satisfactorily clear up some of these passages that have vexed believers for centuries. He does, however, consider himself to be an old dog that can learn new tricks, so he is hoping to learn new things during these sessions!
