Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost

 

Is it worth it? We answer that question many times a day in one form or another, one way or another. Sometimes it’s a question about big things, about life-changing things. Is it worth it to pack up our life and leave for another city to pursue a better job? Is it worth it to commit to a certain area of studies for the rest of my life? Why just yesterday after tiring myself out taking the children around to various places in town, I was resting, but I was bored watching what was on TV.  But the remote was out of reach.
