Fourth Sunday of Advent

The fourth candle is lit and only the light of Christmas remains to illumine our wreath. I hope that in this season, which can be so busy, that you have found the time to do what this season asks us to do. And that is to slow down and to wait and to watch for the lord. But if you have not found the time yet, there is always today. One of our family traditions around this time of year is to watch at least one of the film versions of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. Two reflections on that story: The first one is that one of the most poignant lines, at least for me, which takes place in the original, never makes it into the film version. [To hear the entire sermon, click on the arrow above.]
