Christmas Eve

It’s a time of year which can be over busy and we’re all aware of that; we can have many, many tasks. And we have done our best to school our souls into states of reflection and places of silence. And as we’ve done that, we’ve heard again the story of John the Baptist as he appeared in the wilderness, proclaiming a baptism of repentance to prepare the way for Jesus. We’ve heard the story of the angel’s appearance to Mary, the mother of our Lord and celebrated again that her obedience to God’s plan of salvation brought about such wonderful things.
