We used to make the hour-long drive to the Ellett family cemetery a couple of times a year, bringing decorations for the graves. And I used to walk along and read the names that were etched on the stones, and the dates of the peoples’ lives and wonder about what their lives were like. And my grandfather would tell me stories about some of them in the family. And on each visit, he would always point to the spot where he would be someday, next to his mother. And he did so with not one bit of dreariness. [To hear the entire sermon, click on the arrow above.]
